Today's tutorial uses a model! I thought I would throw some new blood into the mix. I enjoy sharpening my artistry skills by practicing on others. The model has gorgeous skin and cute little freckles, but she never wears makeup. Since she's not accustomed to a full dramatic face, we decided to do a natural, pretty look. Alima Pure Satin Matte Blush in Tulip, Tarte Smooth Operator Powder, L'oreal True Match Concealer in Neutral Fair/Light, Fyrinnae eyeshadow in Te Amo, Too Faced eyeshadow in Shooting Star, Urban Decay 24/7 Liner Pencil in Zero, Maybelline The Colossal mascara in Glam Black, Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
1. Treat problem areas, such as dark undereyes or breakouts, with concealer. Dot it on the problem area and blend the edges outwards. It should look natural.
2. Dust face with Tarte Smooth Operator powder. It contains clay to soak up oils and keep skin fresh.
3. Blend blush onto the apples of the cheeks and back, using circling motions. Don't swipe it in lines! This creates zebra stripes down the side of your face. Not sexy.
4. Pat Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden from your lids to brows. I chose this one because it has a matte finish, and covers the freckles on her eyelids. However, any primer would work. Then blend Te Amo eyeshadow by Fyrinnae all over the lid and above the crease. Buff a little bit of Too Faced Shooting Star eyeshadow into the crease for definition.
5.Apply Benetint all over the lips for a fresh flush. You can top with a clear gloss if you like. We didn't, but that's up to you!
