The first one is Blankety, which is a gorgeous cool toned beige. This is an Amplified shade, so the color is extremely pigmented. However, it's more wearable than the new Viva Glam Gaga 2. VGG2 is a great color, but it has to be manipulated with glosses or mix-ins to fit certain skintones. Anyway, here it is on my lips:
The picture pulls a little more pink than the shade actually is. However, this lippie is very skin-toned for light to medium skin. I would suggest it for darker skin tones as well, with a darker caramel gloss to tone down the concealer-like color. Wear time is about the same as any other MAC lipstick, a little over four hours. It lasts through a meal and talking. (which says a lot when it comes to me!)
Next we have Marquise d', which I thought might be a better nude replacement for spring and summer. It was originally put out in MAC's Blonde, Brunette, Redhead line; now it is being re-promoted for the MAC Wonder Woman Collection. It sold out online super quick, so if you're looking for this shade, try the actual store or counter. This is a Lustre shade, so it is more sheer. Perfect for summer, right? The color was described by MAC as a "sandy cream peach". I apply it lightly to get a sheer peach color that is perfect for warmer weather.
